As Avinash Dharmadhikari, President of the Badminton Association for Mumbai Upanagar (BAMU), it was a privilege to witness the grand state-level badminton tournament organized by Vanita Samaj at Shivaji Park, Dadar. Known since my childhood, Vanita Samaj, managed entirely by women officers, has impressively held this event annually since 1970. Despite having just one court, their commitment and efficiency ensure the tournament's enduring success.

Accompanied by our Secretary Shri Sameer Patankar, attending the 2023 tournament's prize distribution ceremony was a matter of great honor. The meticulous organization, especially by Shri Anant Chitale the Parlekar, as badminton referees, was commendable.
A hearty congratulations to all participants and the organizing team for an impeccably conducted event.
